(More customer reviews)After having this for over a week, this case is worse than I could have imagined was possible. The physical design is okay, but it smells horrible. After storing my Kindle in it for one night, the smell stuck to my Kindle, and for several days now I've actually hated reading my Kindle due to the odor. I've tried setting my Kindle on dryer sheets to override or possibly absorb some of the odor, but it's so bad that even the dryer sheet now smells like the case (just from touching the back of my Kindle). The smell rubs off on my hands and anything the case or Kindle touch, including my dresser. I'm not sure if I should risk using baking soda on my Kindle, but I might have to try. I would return this, but that would require shipping it back to the UK, which is hardly worth what the refund would be. You can smell the case itself from several feet away, and I'm basically planning on cutting my losses and throwing it in the trash. I furthermore worry that whatever could make such a nasty scent must not be very healthy to inhale. Needless to say, I'm very upset that this has possibly ruined my Kindle (at least for anyone who has a functioning nose).
