(More customer reviews)The case itself is quite beautiful but does not give 100% protection. It does not hold the Kindle 2 tightly enough in place at the top. When I placed my Kindle 2 in the case and turned it upside down the Kindle 2 slides out with ease. If they had put the snap closure on the top, giving all 4 sides some type of protection, this case would be perfect. Having no closure on the top is totally unacceptable considering it slides out with little effort. If you put this case and Kindle 2 into your back pack or pocket book and accidentally pull it out from the bottom expect a fall unless you have quick hands. Being aware of this issue has saved my Kindle 2 from a spill. I read the other reviews on this product and their Kindle fit snug, unfortunately mine does not. I would send the case back but the shipping is not free and it would cost me $45 to send back to the U.K. since I live in the U.S.
