(More customer reviews)I had originally purchased one of the Barnes & Noble faux leather cases when I got my Nook. It looked nice and had a good feel to it, but after a few days of use, I could tell it probably wasn't going to last long. For one thing, the elastic bands that hold the top of the Nook in place were making the back of the case bend inward. I looked at all the other cases B&N offered but wasn't too impressed with any of them. So I went online to search for better protection for my investment.
I was surprised when a search result led me to Amazon. I order from Amazon all the time, but the last things I expected it to sell were accessories for the Nook, Kindle's biggest competitor. I read reviews of JAVOedge's products on various blogs and consumer sites, and I hadn't read much in the way of negative feedback. So I ordered the teal cherry blossom book-style cover, hoping I'd like it better than the B&N cover that I have since returned to the store.
I was so pleased when I took this case out of the plastic wrapping. The fabric has a really nice texture and vibrant colors, not to mention a beautiful cherry blossom design. The tan interior color seems a bit outdated, but I suppose it contrasts nicely with the teal exterior, so I don't mind it too much. The case fits the Nook like a glove. All the ports, buttons and touch screen are easily accessible so you don't have to remove the Nook from the case when using it. The front flap folds back nicely for one-hand reading. There's a pocket and a business card holder on the inside, but I haven't found use for them yet. It's still nice having them in case I ever need them.
I'm very happy with my purchase and will look to JAVOedge in the future when I need to protect my other electronics.
