(More customer reviews)I talk to my Book Beanie dude now! All I can say is AMAZING! OK, so I open my package and this thing is so darn cute. And fun to toss and squish. It has like styrofoam teeny beads inside that are interesting to feel. The eyes really make it seem almost human or pet-like. That's called anthropomorphism I think. I primarily read in bed on my Kindle. And although the Kindle is very light, I still got tired holding it, or making my body or neck or arms go into a position that hurt. Also when I used to hold my Kindle my thumbs were ALWAYS accidentally changing the page on me. So I got into bed earlier than usual so excited to try out the Book Beanie. All I can say is AMAZING! The Book Beanie weighs like nothing, so you're not adding any weight onto your lap or anything. It was sturdy and just held my Kindle perfectly while I read. I started out with it on my lap. Perfect. Then I found that I was even most comfortable putting the Book Beanie directly onto the bed beside me and then I could kind of be on my side reading. Just need to reach over every now and then to turn to the next page on my Kindle. It was easy to just shimmy my Kindle a little up or a little down depending on how I wanted it angled as I moved around. I wear reading glasses, so when I was ready to go to sleep, I put the Book Beanie on my night table, holding my Kindle AND my eye glasses. He looks great there and he's my new friend. Any other stand that I looked at was made of plastic or something rigid and boring. This is soft, works great, and I don't think I can ever go back to reading without a Book Beanie now. So simple yet ingenious. Priced right too.
