I bought this case because it looked very sturdy on the picture on Amazon. Overall, it's nice looking and it does its job protecting your nook (or Kindle 2) from environmental hazards.
The Front Cover
One thing that bothered me right off the bat was the top cover. The manufacturers slid a piece of thin cardboard (or equivalent) between the fabric of the front cover. After repeated opening and closing, the top cover has bowed a bit. I can correct this by closing the zipper, but when I open the zipper I see that the cover is still raised at the bottom. I see this issue getting worse over time. What I do like about the front cover is that it's attached with a fabric hinge, which allows you to bend it back while reading.
Is the Case a Perfect Fit?
Not for the nook device. For me, that's both a plus and a minus. The good thing about this is that I can charge my nook without having to remove it from the case. The bad thing as that my nook constantly moves around. Judging by the picture, I think you'll experience a tighter fit if you own a Kindle.
Quality of the Fabric
Everything is sewn together very well, and I like the double-zipper. I can't say how bright the color of the fabric is because I got the black, but I can say that the fabric is tough and will probably last over a year if I'm not too tough on it. I got caught out in the rain last week, and found that the waterproof resin works great.
If you're looking for an inexpensive cover for your ereader device, this is a good buy. Recommended.
