(More customer reviews)Note bad, uses two fixed artificial leather(I presume it's artificial for the price) straps on the top right and lower right(portrait n at bottom) corners to secure the nook with two elastic corner straps for the upper and lower left corners. The strap is not not a snap button per se, but is closed via magnetic attraction with the little cutout to help secure it in place, about as good as a snap button would be but more likely durable.
They have a hole cutout for the earphone jack which is good.
Now on to the not quite so good. The upper left elastic strap partially covers the power button, however it is still accessible and does not seem like the strap will depress it accidentally, however the fixed "leather" strap securing the upper right corner blocks access to the volume buttons. This is not a big deal to me ATM but it MAY be to some. Has a bit of an odor, but nothing nearly so bad as the neoprene bag that Sears sells for the gTablet.
I know that I'll eventually replace it probably with an actual B&N case which utilizes a different method of securing the Nook Color in the case, mid top, mid sides and bottom corner IIRC which leave all buttons and headphone jack completely accessible.
