(More customer reviews)This is a neat new device. Some don't like the foremat and find it difficult to read-- I'm not one of them. For $145 bucks it's a good value. Be aware that e-books, at least on this divice, don't show book illustrations. It's a very handy, fairly compact and lightweight device that holds huge numbers of books, and does other stuff like showing your pictures, playing music and getting on the net. But it is slow on the net. However, if portability is important,
I recommend this first generation book. Be aware that I believe these will rapidly evolve and improve. if you can wait a year or so you may get much more for less money. Color and resolution are good to very good. Betttery life seems short; it's rechargable. Also, it's PC based and I'm a Mac man...but overall I'm happy with it.
