This Case Logic Water Resistant iPad Case does indeed keep water out while still allowing use of the iPad. It is similar to a heavy-duty sandwich bag with two *very* heavy-duty closure strips with an audible click. Although it is only claimed to be water resistant and not waterproof, I tested it underwater for five minutes and the inside stayed dry.
Not only does it keep out moisture but it also protects the iPad from sand and other abrasive material so it's perfect for using around the pool or at the beach as well as in the bathtub or wherever it might be caught in the rain or be splashed. It would probably also work in high humidity environment but I don't have a good way to test that.
The case has the basic straightforward overall design of most Case Logic products but it also has an unattractive decorative pattern applied to the fabric on the inside and back--I would much prefer a plain color without decoration. The edges are also sharp, not dangerously so, but unpleasantly so.
