(More customer reviews)I bought this for my Kindle 3 since it is about the same dimensions as the Nook. The actual case is an inch bigger in length and width and twice as deep (case: 8.5" x 5.5" x 0.75" / kindle3: 7.5" x4.8" x 0.35"). The outside pocket is very handy to carry the charging cord, book light or other small items. Since it is also a soft stretchy case, the kindle is swimming in it and I was looking for a more snug fit. Nice case if you don't mind it being bigger. You can definitely fit a note pad or letter size papers folded in half in with the Kindle.
