(More customer reviews)The Kindle case does a pretty good job protecting the surface from drops and scrapes. Because of the thickness of the silicon/rubber, it is difficult to press several of the buttons and it is hard to read whether one is punching a new page, or going back, or the index. I had to cut out the little square over one of the buttons to use it. I suggest that the labels be printed on the surface, rather than merely a raised label which cannot be read in low light.
