(More customer reviews)This binder iPod carrying case is just as it is described in the product description. It works well. Get a 2-inch binder... It fits into a 1-1/2-inch one, but not comfortably... The case doesn't let the covers of the binder shut quite flat, and there is no room at all for paper.
Putting paper into the 2-inch or fatter binder does work, but awkwardly. I assume this awkwardness is my fault because when I am using it at home, I fold the cover of the binder back and it becomes a triangle stand (when in landscape orientation) . If I didn't insist on this impromptu use of the binder as a stand, the paper in the binder would work just fine.
Pens tucked into the binder pockets are also a bit awkward with the 2-inch binder, so if you can tolerate the larger-sized binder, use that! I simply have no patience with such a huge binder!
The iPod is protected well when in the case. I would suggest adding a way to keep the protector cover snapped closed because it would add an extra degree of protection in case you drop your binder and the case splays open, but of course, that scenario is unlikely!
I also would prefer a smooth cover so when it is shut, I can write smoothly on it. The textured surface makes using it as a writing surface impossible.
Despite my fussy preferences, however, this product is just exactly as described and works well.
