(More customer reviews)I just received my marbled red platform cover and am SO pleased with it! After all the strange reviews on amazon, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I had talked to a very nice CS person at M-edge, which was reassuring, and she had told me about the 60-day return policy so I figured if worse came to worst, I could return it. The cover (finally) came today, and it's just beautiful, the leather is sumptuous, the red color divine, it fits the Kindle 2 perfectly, it stands it up for reading just fine, all the buttons and ports are readily accessible, and it smells like brand-new leather. The Kindle 2 seems very secure in the four holders, two of which are leather only (the two bottom ones) and two of which are leather and elastic (the two top ones that allow you to insert the Kindle), and it doesn't move or shift around at all. What more could you ask? (Maybe overnight delivery, but what the heck... it was worth the wait.) The cover is quite lightweight and nonbulky even though there is a pocket inside for whatever you might want to put there. The tab to hold the cover closed works well and holds the platform stable when you stand it up to read. I also have an Oberon Design (oberondesign.com) cover that is very beautiful but is quite a bit more bulky. This M-edge one is a good deal more sleek and will take up less space in a purse or briefcase. The inside lining is soft, light grey suede and will protect the screen nicely. All in all, I'm very pleased with this purchase and recommend it highly. I think it's a great value for the price.
