(More customer reviews)After carefully checking out every case available for my 3rd generation Kindle. I decided on this case. I am very happy with my choice and love that it closes with a zipper. I was not sure of my choice till it arrived but once it did my worries were put right to rest. I did not like the other cases that had a rubberband holding it closed. It just looked cheap and not very thought out. This case had everthing I need to keep my Kindle safe, plus I like the fact it has slots for credit cards, ID info, and notes or such. Nice touch and I am very happy with my purchase..
UPDATE TO MY FIRST REVIEW I reduced my review to 3 stars after having this case for a few months. The case itself is a very nice and sturdy case. HOWEVER, IF YOU HAVE A "WHITE KINDLE" IT COULD TURN THE EDGES WHERE IT IS HELD IN A BROWNISH ORANGE COLOR..It did mine!! So now I just use it as a holder and do not put it under the elastic holders. If you have the "Gray Kindle" you will probably be ok and will love this cover.
