(More customer reviews)I am so glad that I can still enjoy reading by the pool or while floating in a pool lounger without the risk of damage to my Kindle. The zip top feature is very tight, and there is an additional safeguard of a fold over and snap-secured cover. I was a bit hesitant to purchase this case, because I was concerned that the plastic cover might provide glare when used in direct sunlight. I am pleased to say that is not the case. Additionally, all of the controls function well inside the cover except the on/off switch. I don't see how that challenge could have been overcome without compromising the watertight functionality, so I am fine with opening the cover to turn it on or off. That is a small inconvenience for the greater safety benefit you get from this case.
