(More customer reviews)The light works well as long as the batteries are very fresh. Then you need to reposition the light as you read further down the page. The main problem is the periscope. After a few months use, it doesn't stay out when you pull it out. It keeps sliding back in. It also turns off as it slides back in with the smallest movement.
